How I started my journey in IT

Hello! You may be interested to know why I decided to try myself in IT. Of course, I chose this field because I didn’t have many alternatives, given my capabilities. However, I set a very specific goal for myself, which I was able to achieve quite quickly 🙂

   There were many directions for development, nevertheless I chose the path of Front-end developer. Why? It’s hard to say, maybe because I like to see how quickly my actions affect the web page and it gets better. I started my journey first of all with educational courses. Thanks to Beetroot Academy, I received a grant for studies, and subsequently a good educational base. I also looked for a lot of information on my own – fortunately, there are many materials, articles and videos on the Internet. I can almost always find the answers to all my work questions on my own. Learning at Beetroot went by pretty quickly, and the motivation to learn more only got stronger, so I started looking for opportunities for my practice. Gradually, step by step, I reached my first job as a Front-end developer and learned how it is to work in a team, discuss work nuances, find clients for freelance work.

Time flies – in two years in web development, I have been able to achieve a lot, and how much more is ahead! I hope you enjoy following my journey!
